Great onboarding begins before the employee has entered the company
During the employee onboarding process, new employees get up to speed with their new job and their new company. It's a given that employees who go through a structured onboarding program are far more likely to stay engaged with the organization and more importantly; They feel like they belong. That's why here at Nmbrs, a dedicated team of employee experience specialists makes a big effort to welcome new employees to their new job environment and their new colleagues in the best way possible.
What can you expect from this inspirational afternoon? To start things off, we invited Heleen Mes, founder of HappinessBureau, to introduce the topic. After an inspirational presentation, the majority of the event is reserved to bundle 40+ best practices for employee onboarding in an interactive session. Our people coaches and team host this session, where we aim to exchange as many ideas as possible and sparkle the imagination. We end the session by sharing the best practices of our own onboarding program and explain how we apply these principles in our HR software. Buckle up!

Heleen Mes is an Employee Experience expert and partner of the HappinessBureau based in the Netherlands, and is called a top HR influencer by Oracle in their 2018 year report. Her mission is to make happiness at work the new normal and every employer a top employer. As a HR director she reached a top 10 position as 'Best Employer' with her companies twice. She is the founder of the LinkedIn group Employee Experience Nederland/België and editor of the news site Happy People Better Business News (www.hpbbnews.com and hpbbnieuws.nl). In 2018 her book Employee Experience- Happy People, Better Business (NL) got published.
In her role as People Coach, Anna is closely involved with everyone who works within the Nmbrs organization. Focused on team dynamics and individual development, she brings employees in contact with themselves and with each other in a creative, energetic and solution-oriented way.
Andreia joined Nmbrs in 2017 after a fruitful start of her career at Landing.jobs in Portugal. She is specialised in marketing and loves being able to put her talent into practice as part of an HR team. That's why currently, she is involved in the candidate experience of future Nmbrs employees.
In 2009, Michiel Chevalier founded Nmbrs with an HR dream; To give employees the same quality service that clients get. Back then, innovative CRM systems stormed the market and moved into the cloud, while HRM systems were staying miles behind. At this event, Michiel goes in depth about this HR dream and what has been achieved so far.
